Overview
The hall can accommodate up to 200 people (120 seated) making it ideal for a wide range of uses. The Grade II listed building has seen a host of improvements in recent years, including:
New annexe: Constructed to the rear of the hall, this provides new toilets with baby-changing facilities, and step-free access to the main hall.
Dedicated kitchen: The original shared kitchen area has been replaced with a dedicated kitchen, allowing direct access and creating additional space in the hall.
Improved lighting: Fluorescent lighting has been upgraded to dimmer-controlled LED lights, allowing for a more intimate atmosphere when needed!
Car park upgrades: The car park has been resurfaced and new LED lighting installed to improve access.
Acoustic improvements: Wool-based 'clouds' and a new focussed sound system have been installed to dampen reverberation in the hall.
Technology upgrades: A cinema system with electric screen, 4k projector and surround sound has been installed, along with an integrated PA system and WiFi access.
