Welton Community Cinema is a group of volunteers whose aim is to put on a traditional cinema night most months of the year in the Memorial Hall. Events are designed for anyone who would like to see a film on the big screen with surround sound and without having to travel far or pay too much. Refreshments, food as well as tea, coffee other non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks are available.

Black Panther won three Oscars as well as numerous other awards. Although some might dismiss it as a superhero film [it is part of the Marvel Universe] it has won a lot of praise all round for its production, soundtrack and in particular its acting especially of Chadwick Boseman, Letitia Wright and Michael B Jordan.
